The Nov 28th show at the stunning Balboa theater was incredible, Tori was top of her game. The light show was a perfect background to her, a grand piano & an organ. She played to the audience making comments, & gestures. Highly recommend!

Disillusioned Cornflake Girl

I am 53 years old and have waited 30 years to see Tori Amos as she is someone I have always enjoyed and admired as a human being and a woman. I feel like her music speaks to women everywhere. I finally got to see her in person at Chateau St Michel, Woodinville, WA on July 27, 2023 and was thoroughly enjoying the concert until the middle of her concert when she sang "Cornflake Girl" and chaos ensued. People from everywhere rushed the stage, threw plastic chairs to get to the stage and when the few security and one sheriff officer tried to have them sit in theire seats the people at the stage refused, were combative and the rest of us could no longer see her perform from where we were sitting even when we tried standing to see her. Security and the sheriff officer gave up becasue they were out numbered and the crowd did whatever they wanted at that point and safety was an issue for my husband and myself. When we complained to security and the sheriff officer we were told "we tried" and that was all. We spoke to Tori's tour manager and was told "you can either stand here and complain or you can stand at your seat and enjoy listening to her at least. If you don't like it, you can talk to Tori." My husband and I left the venue at that point and as we walked out, other people like my husband and I were leaving for the same reasons. This is unfair to eveyone who bought tickets and I am very disappointed, both in the venue and Tori Amos who I have admired for years. As money had been an issue when I was younger this was my first time financially able to pay for tickets. My husband and I bought these tickets for 500 dollars a piece for our anniversary just so that other people in their selfishness could hijacked our experience and be allowed too. Unfortunatley, I will never attend another concert of hers. My heart is sad to say that. I am disillusioned."
